Our camera is broken again, so this will be a text-only post :(
We had such a fun weekend! Papaw and Melly visited for Parent's Weekend, and it was fun to spend time with them and Aunt Lindsay. Cade is having lots of fun playing in the backyard these days, and has discovered a love for cheese quesadillas! Chance makes them for him almost every night now.
In yet another effort to be good parents, we decided to have Cade's handprint done on a tile for his one year birthday. We went to a very fun pottery painting place called U Paint It. I painted the tile while Chance and Cade played outside. When I was finished, Chance brought Cade in so we could dip his hand in paint and put it on the tile. Sounds easy, right? Well, we ended up with a big smudge of paint that looks NOTHING like a handprint on the tile, and paint all over our clothes, shoes, and Cade's face (of course once his hand was covered in paint, he tried to eat it off). We do feed the boy, we promise! The results will be similar to his pictures from last weekend, I'm sure :) The lady at the pottery store was very nice and did not charge us full price for the session. The tile will proudly be on display at his party and I will take a picture of it whenever our camera is fixed.
