The Caldwell Hornets earned their first win this season by beating Shepard on Friday night! It was 3 hours away, so Cade and I did not go. Caldwell scored over 50 points, so the team gets cookies! A few years ago (BEFORE we had Cade), Chance promised his offensive line that if Caldwell scored 50 points that I would bake them cookies. Well, that tradition has continued and somehow now includes the whole team. His team has been doing pretty well the past few years, so I have this baking process down to a science. I bake 4 dozen each of 3 kinds of cookies. The picture below is when I am about halfway done. I hope the boys like them!
Since Cade and I did not go to the game, we had a pretty calm weekend. This picture is of him playing on the stairs in his daycare building on Friday. I am happy to say that things are going much better at school these days, and the drop offs are getting much easier. Our little guy is growing up!
And this picture is what I saw as I was walking to my car after work on Friday. Aggies can now set up their tailgate parties at noon on Friday, and these guys were having a great time by 3:00!
