All has been quiet on the blogging front because now that the holidays are over, not many exciting things are going on. Cade has started back to daycare, Chance has been teaching for a week, and I've been busy getting caught up on house stuff before I go back to work next Monday. It is a chore, but I really like cleaning out closets and files at the start of each year. I love having a fresh start!
We celebrated New Years Day with the Hull family in Bastrop. The number of adults and kids is now equal, so Chance and I obviously cannot have another kid (just kidding, grandparents!) We had a great time visiting with them and were so excited to meet Lily.

Cade had his LAST follow up appointment with his orthopedist in Austin yesterday, and his knee is completely healed! The infection did not cause any permanent damage, and this experience is officially behind us. Cade has been running around and climbing like a champ, and we are so proud of him.
One of my many goals for the year is to watch more movies instead of TV show re-runs on the weekends. So far, we have seen The Blind Side, The Hangover, and Public Enemy. I loved them all for very different reasons. I am also trying to read books other than parenting books, and right now I am torturing myself with My Sister's Keeper. It is the saddest book I have ever read but I refuse to put it down.
Here's wishing everyone a joyous year!
