A Win and a Festival

GO HORNETS! Chance's team beat Madisonville 40-19 on Friday night, and it was another really fun game. Bridget and I learned this week that lollipops are wonderful at settling down very active boys, and we will have to keep this little trick a secret from our dentist. Cole was so excited about his lollipop that he wanted a picture with it. His buddy Cade liked the lollipop, but not the picture.

I know I post a picture like this after almost every game, but the sight of Cade running to Chance out on the field is just too precious to not share. He is so happy to finally get to see his Daddy, and Chance always scoops him up, no matter what he is carrying.

It was great to have our families together to cheer on Chance and his team!

On Saturday, my parents, Cade, and I went to the Kolache Festival in Caldwell. This was the first time in 2 years that the event was not rained out, and boy was it HOT! After parking about as far away as possible, we finally found the petting zoo. Cade loved the little pot belly pig.

He also had a great time sitting on the antique pedal tractor. The owner had a lot of interesting stories to share about his tractors.

Eating a kolache with Oma

Checking out the tractors with Opa (and not being too thrilled about a picture)

I loved looking at all your pictures. I just want to clear one thing up, are those burnt orange t-shirts you're wearing?

Yes, the shirts are burnt orange. That is the color of Chance's football team... isn't it awful!?! I made it one whole season without caving in to the orange, but I stuck out like a sore thumb in the stands. The things we do to support our husbands!
