Halloween

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! We had a great Halloween weekend, even though Cade refused to wear a costume this year. Whenever we asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween, he said "I just want to be Cade". I guess we've raised a child that likes who he is? He had no interest in trick-or-treating, but we did carve a pumpkin and go to our neighborhood carnival. These were really fun!

First, some serious focus when drawing a face on the pumpkin.

Giving Daddy specific instructions on where to carve.

The finished product!

Ever since we visited the pumpkin patch this year, Cade has wanted to throw his pumpkins against the fence to find out what comes out. Such a boy! So, here are the results:

On Halloween day, we went to the neighborhood carnival with the Goodletts. Cade actually agreed to pose for 2 pictures!

Then, onto the games. His favorites were fishing and "Down the Ducks". He won a pretty good amount of candy! (Unfortunately for Chance and me, there was no chocolate!)

Cade and Cole do the touchdown dance.
