We had a wonderful Easter weekend! Cade is a pro at hunting eggs now, with a total of 4 egg hunts in 4 days. At first, his favorite part of the hunt was picking up the eggs and throwing them. Then, he discovered that some eggs actually contain snacks, so by the last hunt on Sunday, he would automatically open the egg and say "teddy graham?". Smart guy!
The first egg hunt was at Cade's school on Thursday. We celebrated Easter with Chance's family on Friday at Nana and Papa's house. Cade, Zoe, and Xavier had such a great time playing together! We attempted an Easter celebration with our church on Saturday morning. After a very early morning, Cade would have none of this. The sleeping picture in the slideshow is after our attempt at this event! Saturday afternoon was Easter with Alyssa's family at our house. Sunday morning we attended a wonderful, beautiful service at our church. Then, Papaw came to visit on Sunday evening and the Easter Bunny made one more stop at our house.
We had such fun with our families and are happy to say that Jesus has Risen!
