Our friend Alyssa, also known as Sullivan's mom, made Cade's birthday cake. Didn't she do an amazing job? The cake was so tasty and Cade loved seeing Mickey on it!

Towards the end of the party, everyone got a little sleepy, so it was time to watch Mickey Mouse and relax.
This weekend was also the NFL Draft. In our pre-kid days, we would get together with our college friends this weekend so the guys could watch the draft and Karen and I could go shopping. Well, now here we are, several years later, together again for for a very different reason! We love you guys, and were so happy you could come. We missed you, Russell!
Cade was loooong overdue for a nap by the end of the party, so when everyone left, we took him for a little drive so he could fall asleep. Here he is by the time we got to the end of our street.
Refreshed after a nap, it was time to tackle some of these presents!
