Houston Arboretum

Last Friday, Cade and I took the day off of school and work to meet Natalie and Kelsey at the Houston Arboretum. This was a beautiful outing and we were so happy to see our friends!

First stop, looking for turtles in the pond.

Deep in thought

Tasting wild blackberries (not sure if we were supposed to sample them, but who can tell 2 cute kids no?)

Natalie and Cade took turns being the "leader" as they chose our path. Our visit really consisted of the kids going as far away from us as possible and Kelsey and I chasing after them. It was actually probably a good thing that Henry had to stay home with DeAndre!

Come on, Mamas!

Armed with sticks

Natalie was pretty irritated that Cade climbed this little fence. She really wanted me to stop him!

Check out Natalie's hands on her hips! She has gotten a little sassy lately!

Pretending to fish

We finished our visit with a picnic lunch at Memorial Park. Natalie and Cade are already so excited about seeing each other at their birthday parties!
