Cade and I went to our first official game at College Station High School this Thursday to watch the freshmen team play Schulenburg. It great to go to a game so close to home!
When we got there, I realized I am seriously out of practice in getting ready for football games. I had forgotten Cade's suckers and his gatorade, two crucial ingredients for success at Daddy's games. THEN I had the nerve to ask Cade to be in a picture with me.
I tried to butter him up a little with M&Ms from the concession stand (only orange, of course!)
Whew, that's better!
We had a great time watching Chance coach the Cougars. I love the more relaxed atmosphere of freshmen games and how close we sat to the field.
Anxiously awaiting a touchdown... they made it!
We skipped out on the game in Schulenburg on Friday... that is just too far to go. The Cougars have some growing to do, but we are so proud of them for working so hard and establishing new traditions at a new school! We have our first home game this coming Friday.
