Mama Turns 35

Cade keeps asking me if I feel different now that I am 35. I am relieved to report that although I think it sounds old, I do not actually feel any older. Until I see how many gray hairs I have, but that is another story. We had a fun birthday weekend, and I was so happy to spend the day with our family!

Chance and I had a very special date to celebrate both of our birthdays and our anniversary at Christopher's! We have always wanted to try this fancy restaurant, and we are so glad we did! The atmosphere was lovely and we really loved our night out together.



The next morning we went to John Crompton Park for some fishing. Cade had an extremely successful day with a record catch of 22 fish! Chance and my dad were not so lucky, but definitely enjoyed seeing Cade's happiness. Annie took a nap in the stroller almost the whole time we were there, and I think my mom and I walked several miles pushing her around the loop.



That night, Chris came over for hamburgers, and all of us went to the pool. It was so fun to spend time with everyone! Cade got some major air, Chance and Chris got a good workout lifting him up, everyone got squirted with the water gun, and it looks like Annie had some serious conversations with her Daddy and Uncle!
