Ever since Cade was 1, my parents have set up this little pool in their backyard. Cade has loved the same things for the past 6 years - throwing water balloons and making Opa wear a colander on his head. Last year, Annie wasn't too thrilled with this activity, but she sure loved it this summer!
Another memory from growing up is going to the spring fed pool at Landa Park. While I remembered the bottom of the pool being pretty slimy, I did not remember how insanely cold the water was! We had fun going down the big slide with Cade and playing in the kiddie area with Annie, and we were definitely glad to see our warm, dry towels when it was time to go home!
A fantastic new addition to New Braunfels is Fischer Park. It has 2 fishing ponds, a playground, and a splash pad. I'm so glad we got to visit it! Our first stop was fishing. The guys didn't do much catching, but the scenery was nice!
Next stop, high climbing and fossil finding at the playground!
