I love my students

One of my classes this semester is a writing intensive course for kinesiology majors. In the activity portion of class, the students have to teach a walking lesson for a special population. Last week, the students taught a lesson for pregnant women. Each student brought a pillow to make a "belly" for the workout. The class was hilarious, and very eye opening for these college students! They practiced real-life challenges like getting up and down, tying their shoes, and climbing up and down stairs. At the end of the class, they had a relay race where they put on their bellies and my maternity clothes and race-walked a lap around the track. One of my students has twin boys, and she and I definitely laughed the hardest while the other students were complaining about being so hot and not being able to see their feet! Classes like this are one of the many reasons why I love my job!
