Happy Halloween!

Miska... Mooska... Mickey Mouse! If you are a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fan like we are, you know what that means :)

Cade dressed up as Mickey Mouse for Halloween this year and we attended several fun community events.

Last Sunday, we went to the St. Luke's Pumpkin Fest with the Johnson family. You may remember Cade and Natalie dressed up as a pig and a puppy last year. Kelsey and I were amazed at how much bigger (and more active!) our kids are this year!

Here are Mickey and Little Einstein staying somewhat still in Natalie's chair.

The kids had fun riding a little train.

That same day, we went to the First Baptist Fall Festival with Nana, Papa, Zoe, and Xavier. The first stop was the petting zoo!

Cade jumped in a bounce house for the first time! Despite the look on his face in this picture, he really had a great time and cried when it was time to get out!

The High School Musical star (so sorry, Zoe, I don't remember her name!), Mickey Mouse, and the Train Conductor.

Notice this is one of the few pictures where Mickey is actually wearing his ears. They are NOT Cade's favorite part of the costume. However, he does get a big kick of out other people wearing the ears. Mama, Daddy, Holly, and Sarge all sported the ears last week.

Here's Cade headed to school the day before Halloween.

That night, before Chance's game, Cade and I met Beth and Luke at the George Bush Library for trick-or-treating through the museum. We stopped at the miniature white house and Barbara Bush's reading room. What did Cade and Luke have the most fun with? Empty containers of pretzels!

Our main reason for going to this insanely crowded event was to get our kids' pictures taken in the Oval Office. Here's Mickey Mouse for president!

Cade also loved the horse statues outside of the museum. This is the closest his ears ever got to his head that day.

On Halloween Day, we had a visit from Cole the Cowboy!

Unfortunately, after a late night following the Hornets' victory over Taylor and a very short nap on Saturday, Cade was much too tired for trick or treating on Halloween Night! We were disappointed, but the boy needed his sleep. There's always next year!
