Weekend Highlights

Big news - the Hornets are in the playoffs! After an exciting victory over Cameron on Friday, the Hornets not only sealed their playoff spot, but became undefeated district champs! This hasn't happened in Caldwell in 18 years, and is the first time in Chance's coaching career for such an achievement. The players, coaches, and town are all so excited. Of course, the coaches wives are too :)

The team gets to rest next week without a game, so the coaches got to have a little extra family time this weekend. First item on the agenda: a home haircut for Cade! Chance decided it was time for our boy to get a buzz. I was sad at first to say bye to his baby hair, but now we both think it looks cute.

Here he is telling Daddy to stop!

Admiring the new do

Since we obviously don't have enough football in our lives, we went to Hayden's flag football game on Saturday afternoon. Cole and Cade had a great time running around and joining the players on the field a few times.

No, the boys are not about to punch each other. They are doing "dap it up", or fist bumps. This is Cade's favorite way to say hello, and he always says "boom!" after dapping someone up.

Buddies!
