Annabeth and I went to her first playdate at my friend Ellen's house. Ellen has a 4 month old daughter named Clara, and we are excited about raising our daughters together! We spent about 3 hours together one morning and at no point were both of our girls awake at the same time. They played very nicely together, we thought :)
Last weekend, my amazing friends from high school came to our house for a Sip and See! These girls basically brought an entire baby shower to our house, coming from New Braunfels, Dallas, and Corpus Christi. How great is that?? We had such a wonderful time together. Even though our group doesn't get together as often as we used to, we always pick up right where we left off and really enjoy each other's company. We even got to talk to Melissa in South Carolina while we were together. Between the 5 girls in the picture, we have 7 boys and 1 girl (Annabeth), so there was lots of oohing and aahing over her precious clothes!
On Friday, another wonderful group of friends - the Johnson family - came to visit us from Houston! Our lives have changed pretty drastically from Kelsey and my first playdate... Cade and Natalie were 6 weeks old and we went on a walk at a park. Neither one of them ever woke up, and Kelsey and I "thought" we were so busy. Fast forward about 5 years, and here's our group now! We had a belated birthday celebration for Cade and Natalie, and Henry loved playing with all of Cade's big boy toys.
We had a pretty quiet Memorial Day weekend. Annie is still in her "I hate the carseat" phase, so we keep her outings to a minimum because listening to a baby scream in the car is no fun. Last night we attended the CSHS coaches' party, and it was awesome! The coach that hosted has a party barn, and everyone had a great time. I only got one picture because I was holding Annie almost the whole time. Cade and Maverick loved the air hockey table!
