We had a very fun Halloween last week. Our day started with Cade dressing up as the Cat in the Hat for book character day at school. Annie wore a cute orange and black outfit to daycare that day.
*Note - next year, we need to find a Halloween costume for Cade that is also a book character. As cute as he was as Cat in the Hat, buying 2 costumes was a bit much!
After school and work, we raced home to eat dinner and meet Garrett and his family for trick or treating in our new neighborhood! We stopped for some pictures in their front yard before heading out.
And, we were off! The boys wasted no time getting to the first house. Annie was happy in the stroller for about 2 houses.
Sweet girl faded fast and was much happier with me carrying her. The empty stroller provided a nice resting place for the pieces of the boys' costumes that they shed as we walked!
Vandi took one quick picture of the 3 of us before I had to take Annie home. Thankfully, our wonderful friends let Cade keep trick or treating with them so he didn't have to quit early.
After Annie was asleep, Cade came home and we started sorting through all of his loot!
I had such fun with Leonardo and the sweet candy corn!
