Spring Break 2015 - Park Paradise

We are so thankful for all of the great parks in our community! I had my first solo venture to Research Park to feed the ducks with the kids while Chance was at the girls' powerlifting meet. I'm so glad we went! We fed ducks and explored for a couple of hours on a beautiful morning.

Annie got one duck to eat right out of her hand and made this funny face each time!

This boy has been feeding ducks at this spot for close to 5 years. He has grown so much and I'm very grateful that he still enjoys simple activities like this.

Look how cute they are!

When Chance was back the next day, we went to John Crompton park to fish and play at the playground. As soon as we got there, Cade convinced Annie to touch a worm and she thought it was hilarious!

Daddy fishing with his kids - how precious. Cade was so serious about it!

Remember how Annie laughed at the worm? Well, then she touched a fish. Apparently, fish and worms do not feel the same.

The men caught some more fish and the girls went for a walk and puddle stomping. it was a wonderful afternoon!
