Cade joined up with the 7th graders again this summer to participate in the 2nd half of Elite Camp. I am so proud of how hard he works, and it is not much of a struggle for him to keep up with the older boys. I am also impressed with the boys and coaches for having high expectations of Cade, but also helping him out a little when he needs it. I hope he always has this pure love of working out!
Of course, Annie has to get her work out in too
Annie also got to do her own activities this summer - she had about 2 months of a ballet class and then started gymnastics at Thunder Elite. She liked ballet more than I thought she would (especially since they had to be still and quiet so much of the time), but she is also enjoying the high energy gymnastics.
The first week of August brought us Football Camp, and Cade loved doing his favorite sport with his friends. They learned offensive and defensive drills and ended each day with a game of touch football. This is probably the most I've ever seen Cade sweat, and he definitely earned his gatorade each day!
These guys have been friends since the Weekday School! Annie was more excited about the picture than anyone.
Cool in the stands
And despite all these activities, sometimes Cade works out with us at home, too!
