It has been a couple of summers since Camp Adkison was full of campers, but we got to have a week with Zoe and Xavier here, and it was wonderful! The kids stayed super busy, and Nana and Papa stayed even busier keeping up with them!
We started off the week with a visit from White Hair Nana.
The next day, everybody came over to our house for swimming and dinner. Notice how we got all of the "annual pictures with grandparents" taken care of in the first 2 days! Kids were still nice and compliant at this stage :)
We also went to Adamson Lagoon one afternoon, where Chance and I got to be on full-time kid duty. We loved it, and are so thankful the kids are still at the age where we need to be in the pool with them!
Susan was nice enough to invite us out to her house for a field trip again, and we had a lovely time feeding the donkeys, playing in the music room, and chatting on the stairs.
The big kids got to visit with Betty and Fred and meet Zephy (Matt and Shannon's fluffy puppy), and Zoe and I had a special day together where we shopped till we dropped and had fun accessorizing!
