Chance is the hero of the pool each summer, and the kids reached new heights in their flights with Daddy!
I'm so thankful my mom has taken a picture of our family at this pool every year since Annie was born!
Both kids love fishing for the first few minutes, and then Cade happily stays with Chance while Annie and I go exploring. Sometimes this means that Daddy ends up fishing with the Frozen fishing pole. What a good man.
We are so thankful that Lorinda and Dan invite us out on their boat each summer! This was Annie's first time to go and she loved it! Both kids rode the tube with me and we had lots of fun. Their ride by themselves lasted about 0.2 seconds since they were not heavy enough to stay on once we accelerated. Which is probably best since I don't think this mama's heart could have lasted much longer watching her two kids bob around on a tube!
Our church held their Back to School bash again this year, and it was awesome as always! The last minute cancellation of the big water slide did not deter any fun from being had... Mr. Will build the giant pool and slip and slide again, and there were free sno cones. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
And playing in surprise rain showers is fun too!
