We cannot believe that we've been blessed to have Cade in our lives for 18 months already! In some ways, he seems so grown up, and in others, he is still our baby boy.
The picture above is his school picture from a few weeks ago. It turned out pretty cute!
Here are some of the fun things Cade can do at 18 months:
* He can make the sounds of a dog, kitty, cow, horse, duck, monkey, lion, and frog.
* His favorite foods are berries, mac and cheese, spaghetti, barbeque sauce, cereal with milk, and bagelfuls. He likes to pretend that his food is a car and drive it around his tray.
* He picks up an acorn every morning on the way into school to put in his cubby, and runs the whole way from the parking lot into the classroom (a welcome change from the crying a few months ago!)
* He is turning into quite the talker! Last week he had a conversation with himself in the car about football. He said "Daddy coach football. Go Hornets! Touchdown! Yea Cade!" If you ask him where Mama or Daddy is he says "work". He tells you when he wants to be picked up by saying "Hold you" and says "Bye bye kitty, bye bye Holly" when we leave.
* He is ready for bed at 6:30 pm (but still wakes up at 5:30!) I know what you're thinking... put the kid to bed later! But the later he goes to bed, the earlier he wakes up. Guess he is just an early riser like his daddy.
* He loves playing outside, reading books (the current favorite is Clifford's Halloween), going to Daddy's football games, bringing people shoes to put on, and climbing at the playground.
We can't wait to see what excitement the next stage of his life will bring!
