Hornets Win!!

I hope you're ready for all blog entries in the near future to be focused on Caldwell football, because that is our LIFE right now! Remember how my last blog entry said that we were not going to Chance's game in Austin because it was too far away? Well... a certain 3 year old did not like the idea of missing one of Daddy's games. So, we made some quick plans and convinced Austin and Danielle to let us stay at their place after the game. I am so glad we went because we were there for Chance's first win as head coach!!

We got to the game early enough to see the team run through the big helmet onto the field. Very exciting! And thanks to Aunt Danielle for the pic from the stands.

The stadium was huge and Cade had a great time climbing all the way to the top.

We were so happy that so many people joined us for the game. Austin, Danielle, Wade, his girlfriend Francis, Danielle's parents, and her brother all came to cheer on the Hornets.

Cade visited the Big Hornet with his favorite cheerleader. Yes, my son has a favorite cheerleader. Her name is Cara and if he keeps up his charms, he will end the season with 1000 little Caldwell footballs.

Big smiles after the game! The Hornets won 28-6.

The next morning we hung out with Austin and Danielle for awhile before heading back to College Station. Cade thought the photo booth program on their computer was hilarious!

PS - Yes, there is a picture of me wearing a burnt orange shirt in the city of Austin. This was very hard for me. Cade and I were decked out in Aggie gear as soon as we woke up on Saturday in case there were any doubts about my loyalties. Just had to get that off my chest.
