Here's our college crowd + kiddos
Look who lost her 2nd tooth!
Once again, I see no need to include the game's score on the blog. We are proud of the Hornets and know that they are getting better each week.
Cade and Xavier were so excited to see Chance after the game!
They got to meet some of the players. Although it looks like one of the guys is punching Cade here, they are really just doing fist-bumps!
One of the Caldwell fans actually thought that Chance and Russell were brothers! These guys are just great friends that could talk sports all day long.
Finally! A picture of the 3 of us after a game!
After a short night at the hotel in Waco, we ventured to the Cameron Park Zoo on Saturday morning. Cade started his day at 4:40 am, so by the time we got to the zoo at 9:00, he was R.E.A.D.Y. to see some animals.
Kids enjoyed the relaxing aquarium.
Cade always loves the tortoises.
Checking out alligators with Uncle Russell
Can you spot the jaguar?
Everybody was pretty tired... even Zoe needed a ride after awhile!
Thank you, Nana and Papa, for going on this trip with us and for your patience with the kids!
One more big event for Saturday - the Aggie game! We knew this would make for a long day, but Cade has been asking about going to another Aggie game pretty much since we left the Aggie game last year. We were able to use Chance's free high school coach tickets and couldn't pass it up.
We saw a friend on the way to the game and she called this "Reserved Seating". Pretty cute and appropriate!
Such a beautiful sight! I love Aggieland!
The Aggies are we
Another thing Cade remembers vividly from the Aggie game last year was his sno cone. I tell you, this kid forgets nothing. He enjoyed every last drop of his blue sno cone before we left after halftime. Two-percenters, I know. But we all needed some sleep!
It was a fabulous family weekend, capped off with seeing the Lion King in the theater on Sunday. I love spending time with my two guys!
