The next week my mom came, and we did just about the same thing... Cade LOVES playing dinosaurs with anyone that is willing! Cade got a new dinosaur during Oma's visit because he was excellent at the dentist when he got sealants put on his molars. A little bribery never hurt anyone, and I didn't think ice cream was an appropriate bribe for dental work :)
Last week our church held Vacation Bible School. Cade only got to go for 2 nights, but had a great time playing with his friends and singing songs that Chance and I remember from when we went to VBS as kids! The highlight of each evening was snack time. I'm pretty sure Cade will remember VBS as where he had his first root beer float!
During the summer, Chance works out at home in our garage after he gets home from work. Cade loves working out with Daddy and has learned quite a few of the exercises pretty well!
We attempted fishing at Brother's Pond. We caught absolutely nothing, but Holly sure enjoyed eating the ducks' bread!
We had to miss Cade's friend Garrett's 4th birthday party because of Matt and Shannon's wedding. So, we had a "makeup" birthday get together with Garrett the next day at his neighborhood pool. The boys had such a great time! Despite how they are standing here, they really are good friends!
Another hobby Cade has picked up is golf! He and Chance went to the driving range while I was out of town last month and I'm glad I got to tag along this time! Cade loves getting the balls out of the machine and carrying the basket.
It is so great watching Chance include Cade and teach him how to do his favorite things!
Getting the ball to stay on the dang tee is sometimes the hardest part!
