Life these days...

continues as we get settled in the new home! I'm still working on a blog post about our move, so here are a few pictures of the "rest of our life" in the meantime!

Cade's class celebrated "100 days of school" on February 8. I have never heard of this celebration before, but it was sure a big deal in the Friendship class! They made decorations, hats, and even had a party where they counted out 10 pieces of 10 different types of snacks to make a 100 snack. Sounds fun to me!

Cade's new bathroom is primarily orange (surprise!), and we needed an orange cup for his toothbrush. So Cade and I went to U Paint It one Saturday while Chance was working. Cade really enjoyed painting his cup all by himself (orange with maroon dots) and even picked out some figurines that he would like to paint in the future. I was so proud of him, and so glad that this painting adventure went much better than our previous trips to U Paint It.

Later that day, we attended Jackson's 5th birthday party at the Children's Museum. Parties that start at 5:00 result in a long day of asking "Is it time for the party yet?", but it was worth the wait. The kids all had a great time!

Valentine's Day was also lots of fun this year. Cade's class had a party that included lots of treats and a movie in the afternoon. He did a great job of writing his name AND his friends' names on his Star Wars Valentines. Chance was at a coaching conference on Valentine's Day, so Cade and I had a special date at Chick fil A and Spoons (wonder who picked where we went?). I love my little guy and it was so fun to spend the evening together. We missed Chance, but since Valentine's Day has the nerve to fall during powerlifting season, we are used to postponing our celebration.
