We had a pinata that the bigger kids loved and the little ones were pretty confused by. They didn't understand that it was OK to hit something!
This whole party was inspired by an article I read about a make-your-own ice cream sandwich party. I made 4 kinds of cookies and bought 3 kinds of ice cream. The best combination was double-chocolate cookies with cookies and cream ice cream!
Chance "loves" it when an article inspires a get together for us. The reason we have the Monster Mash parties is because I saw a Trick or Treat banner in a magazine. As long as I keep reading, we'll keep having reasons for parties!
Look at our cute kiddos! The first picture is Hattie, Seth, Luke, and Cade. The next one is Annie having fun on Deanna's lap (waaaay past her bedtime!), and the bottom picture is Mary. Cade was so interested in Mary; I think he is really eager for Annie to play with him more!
The sign of a good party is a huge mess in Cade's room. This one definitely qualifies!
Last Monday we got to see our old neighbors the Goodletts. They came over for pizza and swimming. It was so good to spend time with them. We love our new house and neighborhood but no one will ever replace Natan, Bridget, Hayden, and Cole! The boys had a great time at the pool and it was like they still see each other everyday. Cade was so entertained that the grownups actually had a chance to chat poolside! Annie slept.
