It's Good to be Five

A couple of weekends ago, we had another birthday party marathon with 2 parties in one day. We were not about to miss either one since they are possibly the last two for this group of kids before they split up to different elementary schools. These kids have so much fun together both at school and at all of their social events. Plus, the moms have all gotten to be really good friends and we are probably having a more difficult time than the kids with getting ready to say goodbye!

First party stop was Garrett's water slide party. This was one of the most fun birthday parties ever and everyone stayed almost 4 hours! Since they live so close to our house, Chance and I took turns going to the party so one of us could be at home with Annie while she napped. Fortunately, she woke up and the party was still going on, so we all got to be there for a little while. We were so happy to celebrate with Cade's best bud!

Most of the dads, a few moms (not me), and Garrett's two grandpas also went down the slide! This big kid made big splashes!



Wonder where Cade gets his fun sense of adventure??



After a quick change of clothes, we headed off to the Children's Museum for Camryn's party. You could tell who had just come from Garrett's party... they were a little sunburned and a little subdued. Us parents looked a little weary too, but we partied hard... all the way till 5:00 pm.
