The Pool

We love going to the pool! A few weeks ago, Cade took swim lessons through the city. When I signed him up, I was nervous because at the beginning of the summer, he wouldn't even put his face in the water. Fast forward about 7 weeks, and we have a boy that swims like a fish! So, the swim lessons ended up being kind of a waste of money and time, since they were designed for kids that could not swim at all. I actually think he enjoyed being the "expert"!



One new skill he worked on was a back float.



And one evening we saw a rainbow!



Annie was a trooper about watching her brother even though the lessons were at her bedtime!



The most fun thing we've done this summer is go to the pool in our neighborhood almost every night. We are so thankful for it! My parents were here last weekend so it was nice to get some pics of all of us together in the water.



We are so happy that Annie is a water baby!



And Cade loves, loves, loves jumping and swimming! He was so happy to have both Daddy and Opa to horse around with him.



Cade's newest trick is doing Ninja Turtle moves while jumping into the water.



As I type this, we only have one more night that we can all go to the pool together before football 2 a days start. It has been so great swimming together so often!
