They came to our house one night for pizza, swimming, and jumping on the trampoline.
Cade is super-busy this month with sports camps and karate (a whole other post about those later!), and one day Xavier got to join him for track camp and karate.
Nana and I took the kids to Animal Day at the local library. They had rabbits, alpacas, and miniature horses for the kids to pet. I love going to these programs at the library. They are always free and a great chance to see lots of families enjoying small moments with their kiddos. We finished our fun morning with lunch at Chick fil A!
Another fun outing was taking the kids swimming at Nana and Papa's neighbor's pool. Annie learned how to jump in! She *almost* always waited until I counted to 3!
Chance was off work one day, so we took the 3 big kids to Grand Station. It was a super fun morning of miniature golf, laser tag, bowling, and lots of games.
On the last day of Zoe and Xavier's visit, Uncle Chance and Aunt Alyssa embarked on an adventure... we took all 4 kids to the Waco Zoo to meet Sheri, Lindsay, Papaw, and Melly. It was not the quietest drive ever, but we were sure glad we upgraded to a bigger car!
We were so excited to see Aunt Lindsay for the first time since her wedding! She and CJ are stationed in North Carolina now, and she was in Texas to go to a wedding. The kids love having someone new (and young and energetic) to play with them!
Every time we go to the Waco Zoo, we agree that this is the best zoo ever! The animals are pretty active and there are plenty of places to stop and play (and take pictures)!
