Weekend in NB

We had another football-less weekend! The Hornets beat Brookshire Royal, but the game was too far away for Cade and I to attend. So, we went to New Braunfels to see my family and attend my cousin Ashley's wedding.

On Friday, we had a very tasty dinner for Great Oma's birthday at Adobe Verde.

Then we went to her house, where Cade loved running on her porch.

And he helped her blow out her birthday candles.

On Saturday morning, we visited Mr. Krause's farm. We originally went to see his peacocks, but they were pretty elusive, so we met the other animals instead. He has lots of turkeys, chickens, guineas, doves, cows, goats, and dogs.

A baby goat played hide and seek with us!

Next stop - Naeglin's Bakery. So many cookies to choose from!

My "happy camper"!

Tossing rocks into the Comal River at the new "Gateway to the Comal" entrance.

Riding high on Opa

Playing at Landa Park on Sunday after church.

It is quite a bit cooler this week in College Station, and Cade informed me that he wanted an orange jacket. I thought it would be impossible to find one here in Aggieland, but thankfully the mall came through for me! He was so excited to wear his new jacket to school this morning that he actually ASKED me to take a picture of him! Maybe we're making progress with his opinions about pictures? We'll see... school pictures are this week!

Happy fall, everyone!
