I had to prove that I do actually work around the house... I don't just sit around being pregnant and taking pictures of everyone else!
Once the work was done, we had a fun trip to the Waco Zoo on Wednesday. We took Cade's friend Garrett with us, and they spent most of the time at the zoo finding everything they could to climb and jump off of. It was really crowded so it was tough to see some of the animals but the boys had a fabulous time anyway.
Our afternoon ended with an ice cream treat and a family picture... maybe one of the last pictures of just the 3 of us!
Saturday was another great family day. After getting things done at home in the morning, we went to our first Aggie baseball game of the season. It was the SEC opener so the lawn area and playground were unbelievably packed. We still love Blue Bell Park just as much as last year!
Spring break in Texas means it is time to check out the pool! Our neighborhood pool opened 2 weeks ago and we thought that it might be warm enough to check out the water this weekend. Turns out it was COLD!!! Cade and Chance got all the way in the water, and I sat on the side with my feet in, enjoying a brief time where my ankles returned to normal size thanks to their ice bath. This might not have been the best way to get Cade excited about swimming this summer since the cold water literally took his breath away, but we'll keep trying! Cade spent most of the time urging Chance to jump in (he did, and reaffirmed his super-dad status) and only managed one jump himself before deciding that he would hang out in the shallow water and splash around.
As I type this, Chance and I are both sitting on the couch in shock that we have to set our alarms and go back to work tomorrow. Fortunately for me, I only have 2 1/2 weeks left, and then it is time for Little Lady to enter the world!
