Friday afternoon was a fun gathering of ladies at work for my shower. My friends Beth, Lorinda, and Johanna organized the shower, and we shared a tasty lunch, the disgusting-ly funny "chocolate bar in the diaper" game, and oohed and aahed over lots of precious pink presents! Kathy created the cute diaper cake and hid behind it because she didn't want to be in a picture. Little does she know that I have lots of practice catching Cade in photos!
Sunday afternoon, the coaches' wives had a shower for us. I've only known these women about 8 months, but they are such a supportive and friendly group! We had a great time chatting about raising our kids with our husbands' busy jobs and it was fun hearing all of their baby stories. One of the other highlights of the shower was the cake. It was so pretty, and one of the tastiest desserts I've ever had! Chance cracked up at the combination of fruit and cake in the picture. Hey, what else do you need?? These are also some practical ladies, and we were very thankful to receive lots of diapers at this shower. We also got her first College Station Cougar onesie!

All we need is a baby! And maybe a few more decorations... and a little rearranging of the toys... and this is why I don't get enough sleep!!
