We stayed nice and busy the week of the baby's due date! Cade started SmartStart soccer again last Thursday. After just one session, it is kind of obvious that he knows the drills by heart and is so far a little bit bored. He is doing well, though, and is pretty entertaining!

The lesson always ends with running to catch the coach. It has been fun to watch Cade get faster with each SmartStart session!
On Friday, Cade woke up and said that he really wanted baby sister to be here by now. I felt so bad that I couldn't give him a sister right away! His next question was, "Do I have to go to school today?" Since I was pretty much done with work and just had a few errands to run, I answered "NO!" without giving it much thought! Cade's sweet little face was so surprised and excited to have a Cade and Mama day. I let him call the shots during the day to decide what we wanted to do as long as he agreed to go on a few errands in the afternoon. We went to the playground in the morning and had a tasty lunch at Chick Fil A. I love, love, love time with my big guy!
That night we went to a Cougar baseball game. Cade got some practice with a baby by holding Houston!
Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of our fun outing on Saturday - the Aggie's Maroon and White game! This is our first time to go and the atmosphere was so exciting! We'd been trying to "walk out" Little Lady for weeks now, but despite parking really far away from Kyle Field, she was still not ready to join us! We met my parents at the game and had a tasty Freebirds dinner with them afterwards.
Sunday's fun outing was to the spring fair at Nana and Papa's church. Cade absolutely loved all of the climbing, sliding, and bouncing! He is getting braver and braver every time we go to festivals like this! After the fair we went to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings.
And that is where the waiting stopped....!!!
