Happy Easter!

We were blessed with lots of Easter celebrations with family last weekend, and I tried really hard to take lots of pictures since this was our last holiday as a family of three! We are so incredibly excited about our Little Lady joining us (hopefully soon), and we are also cherishing our time with Cade.

Our first Easter gathering was with Nana and Papa on Friday. We spent some fun time playing in their backyard, explored Papa's garden, and flew a kite... and of course Cade hunted eggs! Nana and Papa have a little patch of beautiful bluebonnets that was a great setting for pictures. I also loved the "negotiations" between Chance and Cade over some of the treats he got in his eggs... check out Cade shoving them into his mouth before Daddy could get them!

The next day was our Easter with Oma and Opa. We hunted eggs (surprise!) and did confetti eggs, which somehow turned into confetti egg t-ball!

Easter Sunday started with reading the Easter story, checking out Cade's Easter basket, and more egg hunting... all before church! The Easter bunny left some funny-shaped eggs, which Cade loved. We had a wonderful service at church. The congregation is really nice and helpful, and everyone helps take down the tables and chairs each week. The kids think it is great fun to ride on the chair cart! Cade, Carson, and Ellie always go for a ride and jump off at the last minute before the cart goes under the stage. They are too cute!

Happy Easter, everyone! He is Risen!
