Dallas Christmas

Our Christmas celebration with the Locklears was split into 2 this year - Round 1 was in Waco, which turns out to be a perfect meeting point between Dallas, Austin, and College station, and Round 2 was in Dallas right before Christmas. When a family has 5 kids, 4 son/daughter-in-laws, and 6 grandkids, you get together whenever and wherever you can!

We had lunch in Waco so we could all see Lindsay and Daniel before they headed home to North Carolina. CJ got to come home from his deployment early (yay!!!), which was wonderful news for their little family, but meant that they wouldn't be in Dallas for our big get together. So, we took over a diner in Waco for a couple of hours and had a delicious lunch and lots of fun playtime for the kids.





Next stop - Dallas! We lost Lindsay and Daniel, but gained Wade and Mel for this get-together, so the fun continued! We spent time at Sheri and Bob's house, visited a couple of playgrounds, opened gifts at Papaw and Melly's house, Cade got to watch the first Harry Potter movie as a reward for finishing the book, and we had our annual dinner at La Hacienda.



The Locklear siblings are so fun to be around; they are all so unique but their bond is unshakable. When we left Dallas, it was time to start our next Christmas festivities....
